… Do you know not of her fragility, her dance with nature, behold, a true wonder

Do you know not of the delicateness of that Dale over yonder?

Do you know not of that which seems immutable, perpetual, unchanging?

That which the foolish would desecrate, and pillage, and plunder, and all, all, for their own gain

Do you know not of her frailty, of her transience, know you not of her pain?

That which by covenant God created for you, for me, for all, as most holy to cherish

That which should be revered by all, a gift to us, from her, given only as wish

That which, if not cared for, if not beloved, if not hallowed, would just as soon vanish

Do you know not of the delicateness of that Dale over yonder?

Do you know not that she is delicate, delicate like you, delicate like me?

Do you know not of the delicateness of that Dale over yonder?

Do you know not?
