… Remember Talavera.

Remember.

Remember the souls whom on stone were unneedfully dashed

Remember the brave whom in battle a Serpent they crushed

Remember the sacrificed in a war they called victory

Remember the scars that were left, never seen, only empty.

Remember Talavera.

Remember.

Remember this battle, and more such as these, in times that are past

Remember the war and all those to come, that Devil, his dice, so oft does he cast

Remember as same, his evil, his pride, all others he tries to corrupt

Remember his envy, his jealousy, depraved and impure, and always disrupt.

Remember Talavera.

Remember.

Remember in God, and by your Faith this Beast shall gain no tiniest of ground

Remember in God, and so that Snake, that Cur, to her he forever be bound

Remember that, and no crown, nor sceptre, nor armoury, unto evil shall he wield

Remember that, and as return, the mosaic of the just, be eternally prevailed.

Remember Talavera.

Remember.
