…  Know that your misdeeds do not go unseen. 

Know that there is no place that you can hide. 

That there is no place you can cower. 

Not in the lowliest of ratholes. 

Not in the deepest abyss of hell, shall you find succor from her.

For God sees you, she sees all. 

And so very soon you shall be brought before her, yes you shall, and all, all in good time. 

And on that day of reckoning, the very foundations of creation itself will tremble in fear at the thunderous crackle of her sword rending the heavens, as she brings it down upon you swifter than the swiftest of birds in fleeting flight.

And justice will be done.

Part inscription on the Earl of Rutland’s tomb reads: “In 1608 he married ye lady Cecila Hungerford, daughter to ye Honorable Knight Sir John Tufton, by whom he had two sons, both of which died in their infancy by wicked practises and sorcerye.”*

*Dubiety remains as to those actually and wholly responsible for the deaths.
